When two people get married they usually make a promise to stand by each other in sickness and in health. But sometimes wedding vows go a step further and include the things that reallymatter, like promising to make your spouse an annual Yoshi cake for his birthday.
According to Reddit user jasonbice15, that's the deal he made with his wife, who has honored her end of the agreement and made him Yoshi birthday cakes for the past three years. Sure, sometimes they are not so great looking, but it's FINE because this is love, people!

The first bears a very respectable likeness to the cute little Nintendo dinosaur. The second, well, it was a nice attempt. The third, which were actually cupcakes turned out, uh... it's a good-looking egg at least.
"They're always terrible, but I don't care," the lucky husband wrote, adding that the making of an annual Yoshi cake is a tradition that will continue for years to come.
