New to the parenthood scene: Harpist Joanna Newsom and her husband Andy Samberg recently welcomed their first child.
A rep for Samberg confirmed to Mashablethat he and Newsom are now the parents of a baby girl, though the child's birth date and name are still unknown.

As Us Weekly noted, Samberg expressed interest in parenthood in early 2016, telling reporters at a Fox party that "I would love a baby someday," and that, at the time, he and Newsom didn't feel pressure from child-bearing friends to get pregnant. "I don’t think a baby is something that you should do because other people are doing it," he said.
Samberg is the star of Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Newsom is an accomplished musician-- her last albumDivers came out in 2015.
This is the couple's first child. They've been married since 2013.
Our only other question: Where should we send this child-sized harp?
